Creative technology

Freelance

I help artists, cultural organisations and small teams turn interaction ideas into things people can actually use — installations, VR experiences, prototypes and event-ready systems.

I have been working freelance with interactive and immersive media for several years. I usually come in somewhere between creative technologist, developer and prototyper: understanding what an interaction is supposed to feel like, choosing a practical technical route, building it, testing it with people and making it survive outside a development machine.

The work can be very software-heavy — Unity, creative coding, networking, sensing — or involve physical interfaces, projection, small electronics and on-site production. I am comfortable entering projects early, when the interaction is still vague, as well as later when an existing prototype needs to become reliable enough for an exhibition or event.

Rapid prototypes

Building compact proofs of concept when an interaction needs to be experienced before it can be properly discussed, specified or funded.

Exhibition & event production

Adapting and troubleshooting interactive systems in exhibitions and public events, where room layout, hardware failures and unexpected audience behaviour become part of the technical problem.

I am especially interested in projects where the technical work is part of shaping the experience, rather than something added after the concept is already fixed.
