About the project

Forest creates a bridge between drawing and virtual reality. At the centre is a table where visitors draw a forest as seen from above; around it, VR headsets let people enter that drawing together as a shared 3D world.

Shapes and colours act as a simple visual language: blue becomes water, red becomes lava, dots become trees. Visitors can draw, erase and scan repeatedly, so the environment keeps changing while other people are already walking through it. The work moves continuously between making a world and inhabiting it.
